About Harbortown Market

Located at 3472 E Jefferson Ave, Detroit, MI 48207, Harbortown Market operates as a specialty food store serving Detroit in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under deli, supermarket, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Detroit with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Michigan may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (313) 259-9400. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is harbortownmarket.net, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 899 reviews, which is a strong result for a specialty food store in Detroit and suggests consistent service.

Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Detroit is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Michigan's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Had an awesome chicken shawarma bowl today from the deli. Better than the Detroit Cava if you ask me, and the people were great. Knowledgable, friendly and making the food from scratch right there. Definitely making a post workout meal from here part of my routine.

Why are they charging 8.99 for a croissant chicken salad sandwich when the chicken is dry, tasteless and tossed is extra mayo with no seasoning or anything it’s a rip off! All of their deli food needs help and I they charge so much for it but put no love in the food. It’s terrible 8.99 for a tasteless chicken salad sandwich that should be 5.99 the way it taste so disappointing! They charge this much because it’s located next to condos which shouldn’t matter because the food lacks a cook
